Ibrowse reddit5/18/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() For what I want to do with an amiga (play games, watch demos, muck about in old apps like dpaint/CygnusEd/Diskmaster/Vista) mister is the perfect replacement, and it's a good deal faster than the A1200 I had. I used to have an A1200 with an 02, sold it a few years ago and later got a mister to fill that gap. Anything running in workbench will use software floating-point libraries and will run just fine. Ģ - Network? I've never tried it, but I've seen plenty of people get it working on the mister forums.ģ - Limitations? No FPU, which means the really advanced demos meant for bigbox amigas won't run. RTG is supported, and the docs say it supports 1920x1080, but I've never tried it above 1280x720.Ĭhip ram maxes out at 2MB. For compatibility the CPU can be set to pretty-much-exactly emulate an A500's 68000 at 7.14 mhz, or an A1200 68020 at 14mhz. With all the speedup options enabled, the 68020 is equivalent to an A1200 running 11x faster, according to sysinfo. The 68020 CPU has an additional data cache that can be enabled which speeds it up massively, but it was never part of the real 68020, so it gives compatibility issues with some games/demos. There is now a Jailbreak for iOS 8.3 and 8.4, so if you Jailbreak and install Apple File Conduit "2" from Cydia, that will give you access to the Root folder of iOS which means full access to all app folders and files.1 - CPU? RAM? RTG? CPU is selectable from 68000 or 68020, but there is no FPU (68882) support. All other folders in iBrowse should be fully accessible for any and all iPhones, iPads, and iPods. Starting ibrowse to support unlimited requests to the server. ![]() iExplorer is still fully compatible with iOS 8.3-8.4 and 9, and it's only the Apps section that's different. I am writing a tool (zxcV32/OpenRWC) that fetches wallpapers from Reddit and sets them to. Since this is a change on Apple's end with how iOS works and how the file system can be accessed, all other iDevice transfer utilities have the same limited access to the Apps folder in iOS 8.3-8.4 and 9, and any devices running iOS 8.2 and earlier are obviously not affected by it. Oh wow, what makes you say it’s the best I’m surprised but not as surprised, cause Edge is also damn near the best on Windows too, despite what many would expect. The files in those apps installed outside the App Store can still be fully accessed in the Apps section of iBrowse with iOS 8.3-8.4 and 9 devices. Edge is the best iOS browser I’ve used and has built in ad blocking surprisingly. The only apps that aren't affected by this in iOS 8.3-8.4 and 9 are ones installed via an Enterprise app certificate, TestFlight, or via Xcode on a Mac. Only the developer of an iOS app can enable iTunes File Sharing, so we encourage all of you to contact the developer of any iOS apps that you want to be able to access and ask them to release an update to enable file sharing. Then, just find the app in the list of folders (every app will be listed as their bundle ID in a reverse domain format ()), and you can simply drag/drop any files to your computer or right-click and choose Export to folder. In the meantime, as a workaround, to transfer app files from your iPhone or iPad to your computer, you could go to the iTunes Backups section instead since iTunes backs up both the Documents and Library subfolders of every app downloaded from the App Store. To update to the newest version, just click on File menu (PC) or iExplorer menu (Mac) and choose Check for Updates. Our latest iBrowse update has restored read/write access to the Documents folder of apps with iTunes File Sharing enabled, and you can still access most app files and transfer them to your computer in the iTunes Backups section. Beginning with iOS 8.3, Apple has blocked access to most of the Apps directory for apps downloaded from the App Store, and the same limited access is in their latest iOS 9 release as well.
